Guest CottagesWe have four newly-constructed guest cottages set among century-old oaks on our 14-acre campus. "Light Of The World" & "Bright Morning Star" |
These cottages were built with Lodgepole Pine and Engelmann Spruce logs harvested as dead standing timber from the high Rockies. The cottages have full wrap-around porches with comfortable rocking chairs. Both of these cottages have three bedrooms, all with private baths. |
When you first enter the cottages, you're in the common room that has a couple of comfortable reading chairs, small dining table, microwave oven, bar sink and refrigerator. |
The first bedroom has two twin beds. There are ceramic tile floors throughout to eliminate carpet-born allergens, and all of our rooms have top-quality Sealy Posturepedic bedding with dust mite-proof covers. We launder all of our linens with perfume-free detergent, and avoid cleaning supplies with fragrances whenever possible. You also won't find (or have to smell) any potpourri! |

The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The interiors are finished entirely in Colorado aspen and native Texas cedar -- there is no drywall, only beautiful wood! The cottages are decorated with wall quilts made in our own studio. |

The third bedroom is a little larger than the other two, and it has a queen-sized bed and a twin bed. The larger room in Light Of The World also has a handicap bath (5' walk-in shower with both hand-held and regular shower heads). |

Our newest cottages are "single-room" buildings, with a nice porch on the front. |

Like the log cottages, the interiors are finished entirely in wood. There is a queen-sized bed and two twin beds, so each cottage can sleep up to four. |

There is an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. The bathroom has a 4' shower. These cottages have a microwave oven and refrigerator. |
